Then, once she feels the power, she turns right around and endorses the man who helped her out alllllll those years she was building her power base. You know, Murtha, the one whose picture is next to corruption in the dictionary. (The Flop).
Lastly, the House Democrats see through the smoke and mirrors and resoundingly elect Hoyer (149-86) as Majority Leader. (The Slap).

UPDATE: The Anchoress wiggles her clairvoyant little toes and sees this set-back is the first of many in Nancy’s slow-mo fall down the stairs of the House.
There will be, btw, lots more hype and hysteria about Nancy. She’s had a few weeks of beautiful press, the sort usually reserved for a Clinton, and now she’s stumbling…
