After almost a week of enforced captivity in little-to-no-blog-land, I come back to see that nothing much newsworthy has happened since last week. The Anchoress has blogged on this quirk of nature several times after absences, but I can’t put my clicker on the links. Whether it’s the fact that time away allows you to refocus on what’s important, or the simple fact the TV/radio/internet is not constantly fidgeting for your attention like a hyperactive 6 year old – the first news you get usually leaves you feeling queasy and disgusted.
Nothing changed while I was off trying to save the world, one seizure at a time:

Hillary is still calling people names.
MoveOn.org is still clueless.
Castro is still dead.
Bush is still bashed. After all, since they are celebrities, we should hang on their every word, right?

Now you don’t even have to be born in the USA to be able to get “Amnesty.” In other words, a free ride.

Despite the NYPD owning several pairs, the Secret Service appears to be sadly lacking in that “area.” Or as Fausta so aptly says, Take Your Wreath and Shove It .
