Sisterhood For Me, But Not For Thee

Now that 9/11 is past, I can focus again on things that just irritate me to no end. So many things, so little time.

Michelle Malkin has an excellent article up on the double-standard Mommy Wars raging in the media around Sarah Palin.

The Gutman standard has now been proffered by countless Obama hacks and water-carrying commentators. Damningly, it’s high-powered working mothers in the journalism business helping to broadcast the anti-Palin slams or doing nothing to defend her.

Governor Palin doesn’t even get the same treatment in her interviews. The Anchoress wisely notes that Obama got soft lobs of “How do you feel about this? How do you feel about that?” whereas Palin gets grilled like a dissertation oral exam. Then Charlie was callous enough to misquote her and then peer over his glasses like a pompous old prof when she called him on it.

The Democrats are so panicked, they have airlifted a gaggle of henchmen (oops, sorry, hench-people) to look under every iceberg in Alaska for something, anything, Obama can use against her. The feeding frenzy is comical.

Sad, isn’t it, that Obama’s lost his bearings on this. He’s not running against Palin. His opponent is John McCain. His Media Minions have not only lost their bearings as well by kowtowing to The One; they’ve lost their credibility with America.

Journalism is dead in America.

Check out the website, I put the book on my coffee table and had a party this past weekend, everyone thought it was hilarious:

[...] I said “Journalism is dead in America.” Charlie Gibson is a fine example of how deep the media has sunk into the swamp of deceit. [...]
