It has become increasingly clear that Nancy Pelosi is so adrift in her hate of not only President Bush, but also liberty, capitalism and anything else with a mere whiff of America, that she has ceased functioning on a human level.
Let them go back to the drawing board, and maybe – just maybe – this time Pelosi can manage to lead with a bit of maturity and civility and actually put the interests of her country before those of her party. I doubt it, actually. I don’t think she’s capable of it because I suspect she is deranged by her power and her hate, and her insecurity – which causes her to overcompensate – and maybe by something else, too.
Today’s performance was the epitome of her malfeasance in office. How much lower can this woman sink before she starts to burn a hole in the earth? Putting partisan politics AGAIN before the will and welfare of the American public!
If she had one shred of decency left, she’d RESIGN, tuck tail and run for the nearest SF spa in order to save her district further embarrassment. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend impeachment. Impeachment just isn’t for presidents, you know. According to The Constitution any civil officer of the federal government may be impeached for misconduct in office. If today didn’t give you enough evidence, then take a look at her performance for at least the last two years. She has succumbed to such madness, she should be committed as well.

Ms. Pelosi, has done more to work with Mr. Bush than Dr. Frist. I live in her district and can not find the number of people in the area who voted for her???? The only times she comes home is to ask the hood for money, and or get photo’s. The help she has provided Mr. Bush must surely make democrats aware, she is not going to help our neighborhood or our country. Over 18,000 homeless in her district. Many of the homeless are ex-military left to the streets to waste the last of their time wondering, or addicted.

To clarify my previous comment, I am only objecting to the word “impeach” in the context. I’d be fine with seeing her expelled, but would be satisfied with her losing the speakership. (Considering that CA-8 is largely the city of San Francisco, I’m not convinced we’d be happier with who they’d vote in next…)

This is beginning to be a pet peeve of mine–Congressmen are subject not to impeachment, but to expulsion (which requires a two-thirds vote of their own chamber, no involvement from the other).
