Outstanding. Brilliant move on the RNC’s part. Why?
Palin’s young, vibrant, ran against corruption. Her pro-life stance balances McCain’s slippery one. She’s got executive experience. As a mother of five, I’m sure she’s got time-management and negotiation skills out the wazoo. She has a baby born with a disability – and unlike many of her Democratic peers – that she choose to have and raise in a loving family. She’ll attract most, if not all, of the Hillary-Disenchantees. And it proves to American voters that the Republican party isn’t made up completely of stodgy old white men.
For the first time, in this election that will never end, I am thrilled.

what wouild make anyoe think becasue they picked a woman that she will have any say in this election. Heck, our last president didn;t have any say over the white house. She is completely a vanity pick with no experience and in no way will she be efficient.

The Repulican party was not impressed or enthused over McCain..McCain as a politcal move chose a women as VP. Now the Repulicans are in love with McCain for the sake of Palin.. That goes to show how fickle the republicans are. This was a political move. McCain shows his lack of judgement by choosing a female with a legal cloud pending over head. He could have chosen another women with pending legal issues. For the women who were for Hillary and are now for Palin – they weren’t true Hillary supporters or loyalist. They are opportunitist and just want a woman, any woman in the White House. If Palin spent a little more time taking care of her children she would have known earlier that her daughter was pregnant. And I’m not impressed with a woman who goes back to work 3 days after having a baby. Something is lacking in her family structure. And, how republican tout the value of the family. This woman can’t tend to her family in quantity time. The quantity vs quality time is a farce. The V.P job is not going to afford her anymore time to care for her already neglected family. Palin bring alot of soap opera drama to the White House..Lord knows what kind of drama is going to follow with the shot-gun like wedding for daughter Bristol. She will definately have to put off her family responsibilities on to White House Aids. The VP job will require more time and out of town travelling. And what is her Mister going to do. I guess she will put him an office in the Administration..A little nepotism would’nt hurt. And you know how hypocritic Republican are. If the Democrates had a young white woman as VP with a lot of children; the Republican would be fast to criticize how she would not be taking care of her family.
