Quote of the Day

The Anchoress on Obama’s refusal to accept Gov. Rick Perry’s letter on Obama’s (in-)actions on border security:

I guess it’s a president who believes he is a prince, not an executive, a president who thinks he is supposed to rule, rather than lead, and a president who dares not accept a letter from a Governor because then he won’t be able to say he never read it or hasn’t seen it.

And once again, one senses that Obama only wants to be the president of some of the nation, not all of it.

I don’t think he wants to be president, at all, frankly. And if that is true, I wish he’d stop, and resign, already.

Graceless. After that, I’m running out of adjectives for a PG blog.

I don’t think there is any chance of him resigning, though I am not sure he really wants to be President. I think he would be much happy being a Prince.

However, it’s interesting that he won’t accept Gov. Perry’s letter. Right now, Republicans are the only people willing to be caught talking to President Obama. In campaign stops in Georgia and Texas, the Democrats all fled town ahead of his arrival.
