For those that have asked, GradSchoolGirl is fine. Her section of Long Island was not as damaged as other parts. Her power was back on Friday and classes resumed today. Many thanks for your encouraging, kind words and prayers for her safety.
We need to remember those less fortunate.
Amid the devastation, political gain seems to be the verse the campaign is stuck on. After this storm, Benghazi, the endless fund-raisers, even the most tone-deaf of Americans are seeing that a second term for Obama would be disastrous.
Benghazi, which the President’s Press Corps refuses to mention, wasn’t just a one-time failure of action and communication. It was the culmination of the many, many mistakes Obama made in Libya and Africa. It will take years to undo the damage, if that is even possible. Obama believes America will trust him, despite the multitude of lies that have crossed his lips the last four years.
This depressing election season will be over tomorrow. Or least we all hope and pray it will be.
“For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.” –Rom. 8:28
Regardless of the outcome, we must remember Whose we are and see in all this a higher plan.
