Voting Fraud. Already.

Instapundit kicks off the the round-ups. There will be plenty more, before next week.

UPDATE: Mind Numbed Robot
Nice Deb

Shot in the Dark

Oh, My. OOOOOOOOhhhhhhh, My.

“…we can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

President Obama spoke those words yesterday at a campaign stop in Woonsocket, R.I. Just think if those same words were uttered by a white president. Or any president for that matter. Except our race-baiting post-racial President gets his usual pass. Either he is completely clueless or he’s seeing just how far he can push decent, hard-working Americans.

That speech was just a few days after he urged Latino voters to “punish our enemies” by voting Democratic.

On Al Sharpton’s radio he appeals to black voters to keep his agenda moving. But which direction? The car’s in the ditch; it has an Obama bumper sticker on it. And that gully is sooo deep, it’ll take a wrecker to pull it out.

Vote GOP. Vote against the Democrats.

And if you’re in GA-13, kick out the corrupt David Scott by voting for Mike Crane.

One Week To Go

Remember Nancy Pelosi’s promise of “no more deficit spending?”

Liar, liar, pants on fire.

Vote against the Democratic Agenda to Destroy America.

Aliens in Our Own Country

Erick is right, you know.

The most significant truth is that had Juan Williams made his comments about Christians or Jews he would still have his job. The world is at war with Christ and, more generally, the Judeo-Christian God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Islam, derived from a man of this world, and the world are in supernatural alliance against Christ. This is the moment non-believers laugh and believers nod knowingly.

Islamists will cut off your head for drawing a picture of Mohammed, but Sunday School rooms across the nation are plastered with crayon pictures of Jesus. Do you see the blood running out the church door? I didn’t think so.

As children, we were told stories of missionaries and martyrs, who were all vilified, tortured and even murdered for their beliefs. And as children, we marveled that such a thing could happen in our modern world, in bright, shiny, beautiful America, the land of the free and the home of the brave. Where daily we were taught fairness and decency and that the Golden Rule applied to everyone. George Washington would never allow such a thing to happen!

Oh, to reclaim the joyful bliss of those years! As adults, now we see the disdain for Christianity every day – on the news, in televised shows, in newspapers, on billboards, on bumper stickers, at the work place, at the courthouse, on the playground and ballfield. If you consider yourself a child of God and follow the teachings of Christ; you are bombarded with ridicule and negativity, smeared by strangers and friends alike. Paul told us this would happen,

12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (KJV 2 Timothy 3:12)

Paul was right, too, you know.

Angela Merkel is right, too. The German Chancellor announced last week that their national experiment with multicultural tolerance is over. Embrace the Christian values that are the foundation of the German society, or find someplace to live.

However, in America even admitting you are spooked by Muslims on airplanes can get you fired. Juan Williams, formerly of (the National Propaganda Radio), suffered the outrageous twist of logic that while exercising his right to free speech, he spoke against a group that strikes fear into the hearts of all the gateway media and liberal politicians alike. He was deprived not only of his right to speak freely, but also his job. Happily, he was immediately employed by FoxNews and NPR’s federal funding is now on the radar of a certain Congressman (Emphasis Admin).

I hear that Congressman Joe Barton might just make NPR’s firing of Juan Williams an issue next year.

Specifically, I’m told, “It is very likely that this will be a priority for Mr. Barton in the next Congress, should voters trust Republicans with their vote in November.”

A hearing would probably focus on whether taxpayer money is being used to suppress free speech at NPR.

NPR may soon understand that elections have consequences, even those they never expected and that no amount of lame excuse of misspeaking backtracking can undo. NiceDeb has more. The Anchoress has a big round-up. NPR is in the cross-hairs. I say good riddance!

The party in charge hates Christians. The party in charge runs the media, who obediently blares the message. The party in charge wants to reshape America into something more… soviet.

Remember these things as you go to vote.

FreedomWorks Suffers Cyber Attack

This morning. The enemies of America will stoop to nothing to stay entrenched!

The attack crippled the site at about 9:45 a.m. just when the fund-raising drive was publicized on the radio by conservative talk show host Glenn Beck. The group estimates it lost about $80,000 in potential donations as it struggled to bring its site back online.

An “autopsy” showed a highly sophisticated hacker struck at 6:55 a.m., the group said, setting the stage for the eventual meltdown. The server was wiped out, though group officials said no data was lost or stolen.

“We think the idea was to take our site down until after the election,” said Kara Pally, web developer for FreedomWorks. “This was politically motivated.”

Coincidence? If you believe that, I’ve got a bridge to sell ya.

Sic Semper Tyrannis.

We Must Change the Future

The message couldn’t be more chilling eleven days out from the mid-term election. This may be our last chance at turning the tide that will destroy America as we know it.

This latest ad from Citizens Against Government Waste throws down the gauntlet. Who do you want your next boss to be?

Quote of the Day

Smitty at The Other McCain, on Jim Moran’s (D-VA8) cowardly jab at his opponent Patrick Murray which quickly grows into an insult to our military and veterans, gets the nod for today’s QotD. The whole thing is too good to excerpt, so I’m using it all, except you’ll need to go over and watch the Jim Moran video yourself, follow the other links but mostly to give Smitzy the linky-love he so craves.

What [Republicans] do is that they find candidates – usually stealth candidates – that haven’t been in office, haven’t served or performed any kind of public service. My opponent is typical.

The obvious slam here is the attack on service to the public in the military as somehow not being public service.

However, consider the audience. This is the Arlington County Democratic Committee. The audience in VA-8 isn’t just your garden variety Democrat. Without going too far on a limb, this ACDC likely has an abnormally high representation of Federal bureaucrats and lobbyists. The faceless, unelected, mostly unaccountable twerps who, termite-like, gnaw at the foundations of our liberty.

After denigrating 24 years of honorable military service in the first half, the second half of the clip is more interesting:

And of course, for 24 years, he’s taken a government check because, frankly, the military still is part of the Federal government, uh, and, yet, his principle platform is to cut government spending.

What is the implication here, Moran? That an Army Colonel was on the dole for two and a half decades, and is somehow biting the hand that feeds? Showing ingratitude toward his Ruling Class elite betters, i.e. you? Should Patrick Murray have simply taken a job with one of PMA’s clients, and got on the ‘beltway bandit’ gravy train? Would that have made his interest in supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States less odious to you, assuming proper campaign contributions?

Jim Moran acts like a status quo fat cat. The sort of elite, aristocratic snob who, 235 years ago, would like have supported King George III against the American Revolution. The kind of dead wood Democrat who needs to go on 02 November. The kind of patronage-loving upper class boob who supports every atrocious, economy-wrecking policy that the Gnomes of Capitol Hill crank out by the ream.

Tying Moran’s broad way to destruction with his audience, ACDC, we’ll end this rant with a video about where the ideas of Moran, Nancy Pelosi, and this Administration will lead this country, if we don’t elect leaders like Patrick Murray and retire Jim Moran:

In eleven days, if the Dems don’t lose enough seats to lose control of at least the House, we are on a highway to hell indeed.

Boot David Scott

I would love for the GA-13 seat to slide to the right over on The Cook Political Report! Remember last August? Remember this town hall?

The despicable David Scott is the current occupant of that chair, please help the good people of GA-13 get their district back.

I had a lot to say then, and now I’m using my voice in the voting booth. Go back to Inman Park, David Scott.

Vote for Mike Crane – a good man who is going to help us take back Georgia, one district at a time.

Projectile Projecting

The jokes are beginning to write themselves. Marxist in Chief tries a campaign scare tactic that the GOP will ‘hijack Democracy’ and there will be ‘hand to hand combat’. Remember when Sarah Palin said it was time for conservatives to “reload” and the liberal media went bonkers? Listen to the crickets sing…

Here’s the projectile projecting

Timing is Everything

Compare and contrast.

Corruptazoids Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) and Maxine Waters (D-Calif.)…their much-touted ethics trials are scheduled after the November elections.

Newcomer Austin Scott is running for Congress in GA-8 against incumbant Jim Marshall. Yesterday, he garnered an endorsement from FreedomWorks.

FreedomWorks PAC believes that Austin Scott’s promises to protect the Constitution and fight on behalf of taxpayers against runaway government spending and the continuous erosion of our fundamental freedoms will propel him to victory in the November 2nd general election.

Scott will be an important vote in the next Congress on behalf of core limited government issues. And his leadership in combating the big government agenda of the liberal establishment will be critical to FreedomWorks’ overarching mission to “Take America Back” on behalf of freedom starting on November 3, 2010.

Scott is considered one of the GOP Young Guns (click on GA) for this election. Marshall, on the other hand, is one of many of Queen Nancy’s footstools. The Democrats are so desperate to save Marshall’s seat that they’ve petitioned the court to unseal Scott’s divorce records. The hearing is scheduled for the week before the November elections. The judge that set the hearing date contributed to Marshall’s campaign. Connect the dots.

You can donate to Scott’s campaign here. Punish the dirty-tricks Democrats – kick the weasels out!

In the meantime, decide who loses in this scenario.

Dinner and a Movie

Well, a couple of movies.

The first two by Ben Howe, brother of RedStater Caleb. I wonder if they have matching flannel shirts.

This one by the Republicans Governors Assn, via Nice Deb,

Newt on liberal math, via Gateway Pundit,

Short, sweet, double-awesome.

Oh, and dinner. Tasty. And not beans and franks. Yet.

Ten Buck Fridays Poll

Here’s the latest at RightKlik.

Last week’s winner was Dale Glading, running for Congress in NJ-1.

Donate here. Be sure to note you are a ‘Ten Buck Friday’ donor.

Everything Conspires

…to keep me from blogging.

Whether it’s the new/old leak in the roof that should have been repaired after last year’s nightmare, or the washer than randomly refuses to spin, or the malaise that permeates the day job environment, or the book I’m reading, or the book I want to read, or the scarf I’ve started, or that Mad Men only has two episodes left in this season, or the room I need to clean out for the impeding move home of Underemployed Graduate formerly known as College Girl, or the room I need to paint for the same, or that I can never eat chicken nuggets again, or the sad and aging little dog, or the trouble sleeping, or the pants that are tighter than last fall, or the mysterious aches and pains, or the ever-rotten sinuses, or the Dawgs, or the malfeasance of the supposed media, or the fact we may never sell this house, or the negativity that spews from practically every politician’s mouth, or the dismay accorded our rudderless POTUS, or the clueless current party in charge, or the secret and sneaky destroyers of liberty lurking behind every shrub, or the fact that although I can navigate with ease the many galaxies of Star Wars, Star Trek (the many flavors), Aliens, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate and Babylon 5 – I may never understand Caprica

I suppose I’m looking for inspiration in the midst of disillusionment. Somewhere. Anywhere. The already dreadful political climate will only get worse the next 30 days. I seriously doubt it will provide anything constructive and uplifting. America will survive it and be stronger for it. As for me, I’m not so sure.

With 31 days to go…

I’m reminded of the words of Margaret Thatcher:

I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.

Indeed. In fact the left’s desperation has winged past the smell stage, to downright decay. The sinking ship is crumbling beneath them, and that water’s cold.

When the POTUS plays the race card, it’s almost over. Ken Taylor said it best:

In one of the most ridiculous analogies of his Presidency, during two speeches Barack Obama compared the, “impatience,” over the time it is taking for the economic recovery to the long battle during the early history of this country to free the slaves. Referring to the impatience Americans are having with his failed economic policy Obama stated that he too was impatient almost begging for Americans to be patient, give him more time and then threw in, “it took time to free the slaves.”

What an arrogant and completely imbecilic statement made by a politician much less a President. Trying to compare his failing and disastrous agenda to the battle this country had in its infancy to free slaves is ludicrous at best. Especially when one understands that Obama’s agenda with government expansion and control over the private sector CREATES slaves to an over bearing government where individuals are made dependent to government rather than being free to prosper of their own accord.

Run on off to Camp David, BO, with your Tuscan sun-lamp. It will be over soon.

R.S. McCain Channels His Inner Patton

As well we all should, with November in the cross-hairs.

Stacy and Smitty write reams of excellent stuff; this post is one of the best, and is simply to good to excerpt. Read the whole thing. Read it out loud. Read it again and again. Send it to all your friends. Send it to your enemies. Send it to your soon-to-be-unemployed representatives. Give a copy to the government-employed mail carrier.

“Americans love a winner. Americans will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise cowards. Americans play to win all of the time. I wouldn’t give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That’s why Americans have never lost nor will ever lose a war; for the very idea of losing is hateful to an American.”
– George S. Patton
